Service Agreement Program

In response to the high prices associated with repair maintenance programs (repairing machines for a specific time period for a single price) in 1994, AmeriComp developed the cost effective AmeriComp Wearable Parts Repair Program. Based on the fact that electronic parts (memories, processors, etc.) have a much higher reliability than moving parts (such as rollers, fusers, etc.), a low cost program to cover the moving parts is possible.

Highlights

The highlights of the most cost-effective repair maintenance program available are as follows:

1. Wearable Parts

   The repairs cover all parts in the paper path (pick-up rollers, fusing assembly, paper exit rollers, etc.) plus come fans that are subject to wear.




2. Service Location

   Every effort will be made to repair machines at the customer site on a not to interfere basis. Equipment will be removed for repair only when absolutely necessary. If possible, problems will be solved over the telephone with a service call back-up.




3. Response Time

   Less than 8 business hours is the norm, with quicker response in emergency situations for an additional nominal fee.




4. Repair Actions

   At customer direction, repair actions may be started immediately.




5. Repair Parts

   Our certified service technicians carry parts that are most likely to fail. A comprehensive parts inventory is stocked at AmeriComp. Those parts not stocked are available on a next day basis via FedEx.




6. Supplies

   Only AmeriComp or OEM cartridges will be utilized in the wearable parts covered machines.




7. AmeriComp Standards

   Prior to starting service, printers will be brought up to ameriComp standards at a 25% discount.




8. Other Repairs

   All other repairs will be on our low-priced, all inclusive Time and Material basis.
